Participating in baby shower games at your baby shower is a memorable pre-baby experience. It is one of the last events that you will attend before baby makes its arrival. Part of making the experience successful is thoughtful party planning, which includes coming up with baby shower game ideas.

Baby Shower Game Ideas:

Guess Mom’s Tummy Size (Materials needed: yarn/string and scissors). Each woman should pull a piece of yarn to the size they think would fit around the centre of the pregnant tummy of the mother-to-be. After everyone cut their yarn, compare the results to the actual tummy size of the mother-to-be. The woman who is the closest wins a prize.
How Many Baby Items Can You Name (Materials needed: pen and paper for each woman). Each woman should write down as many baby products as they can name within five minutes. Give a prize to the woman who named the most baby products.
Guess the Baby Item (Materials needed: any baby products and a blindfold). A bag filled with baby items are placed in front of the mother-to-be. Blindfolded, she should then take out one item at a time and tell her baby shower guests what item she holds in her hands. Some crazy baby toys or products will work really well.

Bottle Races (Materials needed: baby bottles filled with milk or alternate drink). Each participant takes a bottle filled with some or other liquid and sucks the bottle as a baby would. The woman who drinks the most in an allotted time wins a prize.
Guess the Baby Pictures Ask for everyone’s baby pictures prior to the baby shower. Arrange all the pictures in a collage and make lines for people to fill in who they think the babies are out of the women attending the baby shower. The person who guesses the most pictures right wins a prize.
Pass the Dirty Diaper (Materials needed: diaper, chocolates, music player). This is one of the dirtiest baby shower games. The host takes a diaper that has been “fixed” with warm chocolate in the correct area and has one woman pass it to the woman next to her (everyone should sit in a circle). When the host stops the music, whoever is holding the diaper is out of the game. The woman who stays in the game the longest wins a prize.
